Inside Sales Engineer

Are you that service-oriented go-getter with technical insight and a commercial mindset? As an Inside Sales Engineer, you are the pivot between customer, technology and sales. You think along, switch quickly and ensure that everything runs smoothly from quotation to delivery. In a close-knit team, you work together on smart solutions that make the difference.

What will you be doing?

As an Inside Sales Engineer, you are the link between customer, technology and sales. You answer questions, help think of solutions and make sure everything runs smoothly, from quotation to delivery. You understand the customer's needs and know that service makes all the difference. Your day includes:

  • Advising customers (by phone/mail)
  • Sparring with colleagues for the best technical solution
  • Processing orders and arranging return requests
  • Preparing and following up on quotations in close cooperation with the account manager
  • Within the team of 5 colleagues, you actively contribute to process improvement.

 

Who are you?

You are technically interested, commercially minded and enjoy customer contact. You like to work together, think ahead and stay calm when things get busy. You like arranging, switching and the dynamics within a sales team.
Furthermore, you have:

  • MBO+ working and thinking level
  • 3-5 years of work experience (preferably technical/commercial)
  • Interest in or knowledge of truck and trailer components
  • Experience in working with modern software (ERP, Office 365 etc.)
  • Good command of Dutch in speaking and writing
  • Practical experience with English and/or German is a plus

  • Salary range €2,700- €3,800 (on the basis of demonstrable knowledge and experience)

  • End-of-year bonus, which can rise to a maximum of 8.33% (on the basis of years of service)
